JEANNE BLOUSE is a refined and minimal design, worked in half brioche stitch with Pearl Mohair. This stitch creates a soft, ethereal texture that drapes beautifully. Timeless and elegant, the blouse embodies effortless femininity.
CONSTRUCTION: This pattern is worked from top down in half brioche stitch. First, the yoke is cast on and knitted in the round, with increases at each side of the shoulder on every other round. Once the yoke is complete, the front and back are separated and worked flat until they are joined in round at the underarms to form the body. The body is then worked in the round to the hem. The sleeves are picked up along the armhole openings and knitted in the round to the cuffs.

SIZE AND FIT GUIDELINES: This piece is designed with positive ease of approximately 20 cm [8 inches].

MATERIALS: 175 (200) 225 (225) 250 (250) 275 g of MAJO GARN Pearl Mohair: 25 g e = 210 m (230 yards)
Use 2 strands of Pearl Mohair held together throughout the project.
GAUGE: 15 stitches x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in half brioche stitch, washed and blocked, using 5.0 mm needles [US 8] (Note: 26 rows in half brioche stitch equals 13 brioche knit stitch rows.)
SUGGESTED NEEDLES AND NOTIONS: Circular needles: 5.0 mm [US 8], 40, 80 or 100 cm [16, 32 or 40 inches], circular needles: 4.0 mm [US 6], 40, 80 or 100 cm [16, 32 or 40 inches], stitch markers, tapestry needle.
